A Story of Resilience from Karachi’s coastal communities
This documentary gives voice to Karachi’s fishing communities, Baba and Bhit Islands, Salehabad, KakaPir, Rehri Goth, and Ibrahim Hyderi, who live with the harsh realities of climate change every day.
From net-weaving to mangrove conservation, from oral traditions to collective struggles, their knowledge carries lessons of survival and dignity. This is more than a story of crisis; it is a story of resilience, resistance, and wisdom.

This film is produced by Sarah Ather Khan, Assistant Professor Department of Architecture and Planning NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan who is currently being mentored by our Artistic Director Alice Sharp, supported by the British Council South Asia.
