Our earlier sneak peek of an ancient mosaic may not have been created by the Romans… but it is real.
The stunning artwork ‘New Roman Mosaic c.2025’ is a Wild Eye commission created by Turner Prize-winning artist Jeremy Deller in collaboration with Yorkshire-based sculptor and mosaicist Coralie Turpin. It forms part of an exciting new seawatching station on Scarborough’s Marine Drive.
Join us for the launch on Saturday 26th April with a free community event, including:
- Reveal of the mosaic and seawatching station
- Create your own mosaic to take home
