Breathe For Ella

Posted on 24.01.2023

On the 10th anniversary of the passing of 9-year-old Ella Adoo-Kissi-Debrah – the first person in the world to have ‘air pollution’ listed as a cause of death – artist Dryden Goodwin’s iconic ‘Breathe’ animation will be projected large-scale on London’s South Bank in her memory.

Projected on the side of the Rambert Building, positioned next to the busy Waterloo Bridge, will be animated images of Ella’s mother – the extraordinary clean air campaigner Rosamund Adoo-Kissi-Debrah CBE – ‘fighting for breath’. The projection will be lit from dusk (circa 6pm) till dawn (circa 7am) for three nights from the 15th Feb.

Join Invisible Dust, Rosamund Adoo-Kissi Debrah and the Ella Roberta Family Foundation along with Dryden Goodwin and a range of special guests, for the dramatic night projection, music and speeches in honour of Ella’s legacy.

Come along to #BreatheForElla and show your support for #EllasLaw – calling for a clean air future for all. Search @Invisible_Dust and #BreatheForElla for more info.

5pm – 8pm 15th February 2023, Rambert and Green Room 99 Upper Ground, SE1 9PP
