Repowering London

Repowering London creates local energy by delivering renewable energy projects that are led and owned by local communities in London and provide direct benefits to them, including cost savings and community investment. Our projects also generate the social energy that brings people together and creates opportunities for communities to flourish. Our unique combination of mentoring, training, and work experience helps London’s residents become active, empowered citizens who have a voice in local decision making and a hand in delivering meaningful change to the existing energy system. At the same time, we use our collective experience to explore innovative models for providing sustainable and affordable urban energy and driving London’s transition to a fair and inclusive low-carbon society.

Young people will be joining an interactive and creative workshop at Forecast 2023 to learn how community energy can create a fairer energy system and build resilient communities.
