Professor Paul Wilkinson


Paul Wilkinson is Professor of Environmental Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).

He trained in medicine and public health in Oxford and London, UK, before beginning epidemiological research at the National Heart and Lung Institute and then moving to the London School in 1994 to take up a position in the Environmental Epidemiology Unit.

His primary research interests are in climate change and other environmental determinants of health. He is co-director of the World Health Organization Collaborating Centre on Global Change and Health.
