International Women and Climate Summit ‘Under Her Eye’ to return in 2020
Autumn 2020, London
This week marks one year since ‘Under Her Eye’ – our two day art and science summit and festival on the theme of women and climate change. In 2018 our previous event brought together 54 pioneering female artists and scientists, and was headlined by Margaret Atwood and former Paris Climate Agreement 2015 leader Christiana Figueres. The festival included specially commissioned artworks across King’s Cross for visitors to consider and experience climate breakdown through the lens of Air, Land and Sea. Over 4000 people attended the two day event and around 12 million were reached through global digital press, social media and online platforms.
To celebrate the anniversary of the event, we’re delighted to announce that ‘Under Her Eye’ will return to London in autumn 2020 delivering a new art and science programme focused on empowering young girls and women across the world to take the helm as climate leaders.
The event will offer a model of discourse across the disciplines and generations inviting speakers, facilitators and audience members to engage with and contribute to an extensive programme of artworks, panel talks, in-conversations, workshops and theatrical interventions.
