OPPORTUNITY – Fellowship Bursary – researcher in the field of health
Invisible Dust are offering one fully-funded bursary place for a a female researcher or early careerist in the field of health to join our ‘Under Her Eye’ Fellowship programme.
More info: This ambitious programme will provide an opportunity for women aged 18-30 to investigate the relationship between art and science. Fellows will explore how powerful creative collaborations can evolve between disciplines, leading to works and engagement programmes that spark meaningful national conversations on pressing environmental issues.
The programme will include presentations from leading scientists and artists, and training and practical workshops on project management, communication skills, fundraising, public speaking and social media. The Fellows will work specifically within the research context of women’s contribution to the climate change challenge and the programme will include considerable involvement and input into ‘Under Her Eye’ (UHE), Invisible Dust’s major conference and arts festival taking place on 1st and 2nd June 2018 at the British Library, London. UHE explores and showcases the role of women in the sciences, economics, art and technology of the climate change revolution.
The programme will be supported by a steering group of experienced curators who will provide content and ongoing one-to-one mentoring. With their support the Fellows will collaborate across disciplines (and universities) to produce events for UHE, and will have the opportunity to apply for funding from Invisible Dust to develop iterations of this work later in the year.
To be put forward please send us a short description of your work/research, how it applies to climate change and why you would like to join the Fellowship (no more than 1 A4 page), along with a 1 page CV, to:
