Tomorrow at The Docklands, London in partnership with Marine CoLAB and FoAM Calouste Gulbenkian UK are hosting an all day event ‘The Ocean Connects Us’ to try and raise public awareness to the critical state of our oceans.

We are happy to say that Mariele Neudecker who has new work commissioned for ‘Offshore: artists explore the sea’ will be speaking at the event as well as poet and writer John Wedgwood Clarke & sound artist Rob Mackay. The full program includes lectures and participatory sessions centered around marine conservation and the public understanding of ocean health, as well as an array of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free food.

The event includes perspectives from artists, policy makers, business, scientists and funders to reflect the new ways marine conservation is beginning to expand across these fields.
