Mariele Neudecker has been co-commissioned by the Brighton Festival and HOUSE 2013 to present her new installation, “Heterotopias and other domestic landscapes” as HOUSE 2013′s lead artist.

The installation is the culmination of three years of collaborations with Deep Sea and Arctic scientists, with the curatorial support of Invisible Dust. Spreading over three floors of Brighton’s Regency Town House, it explores both knowable and sublime landscapes.

HOUSE 2013 is curated by Guest Curator Celia Davies and also includes commissioned responses to Neudecker’s work by other artists.

After HOUSE 2013, Invisible Dust is planning on presenting her work at the British Science Festival in Newcastle in September 2013 and in London in 2014.
