Factory Night @ Dove Marine Laboratory

Factory Nights returns this summer with a new evening at the Dove Marine Laboratory, in Newcastle Upon Tyne. This night picks up on the successful collaboration with Dove artist Cath Keay. During her research at Dove, Cath made a series of text-based terracotta sculptures that were submerged to be colonised by marine organisms.

The Night follows the ethos of previous Factory Nights: it aims to be an inspiring working sessions which brings together a variety of creative individuals in an interesting venue to exchange thoughts and potentially forge collaborative projects together. The Dove Marine Laboratory Night will be an inspiring session which will provide a meeting point for scientists and artists.

The artists will be from a variety of disciplines, including visual artists, photographers, writers, poets, musicians, and filmmakers. Scientists from any field are welcome.
