HeHe 'is there a horizon in the deep water' 16th March rehearsal

Opening and performance 6-9pm Thursday 17th March, Jesus Green Lido, Chesterton Rd, Cambridge, CB43AX

Yesterday a BBC film crew came to Jesus Green Lido to film the ‘Is there a horizon in the deep water’ for Look East news. The artwork was being set up by artists HeHe ready for the performance this evening from 6-9pm at the Lido. Heiko Hansen of HeHe was trying out a few of the special effects in a dry suit braving the freezing water.

The work is a recreation of the US Oil rig disaster last year (see image) which continues to have huge health and environmental consequences. Invisible Dust’s programme for the Lido includes artists Liz Ballard, Anne- Mie Melis and Bettina Furnee and is part of the Cambridge  Science Festival. Come along the exhibition is open at the Lido 12-9pm Thursday 18th-Sunday 20th March.

Our programme includes family workshops at Cambridge University on Saturday and artists and scientists talk 6pm Monday 21st. Please see Current projects for more info.
